'So happy to share that I have become an ambassador for SeeMe, a fair trade brand that produces silver and gold plated necklaces, bracelets and other accessories, all handmade by Tunisian women who have been victims of violence. It is SeeMe's mission to empower their artisans through economic independence.
In celebrations of Mother's Day 2017 and in response to the sexism and challenges aimed at women's reproductive rights by The Trump administration, SeeMe has a launched a campaign entitled "We are #MadeByWoman" to honor our mothers and the gift of motherhood.
Over the next three weeks we will be sharing our mother's best characteristics (the stuff we love and the things that drive us crazy, but which ultimately made us who we are today).
The first thing I would like to share about my mother is her heart of gold. She has always been a generous and forgiving person. It always amazes me how much she gives, her ability to look past the small stuff, to forgive those who have wronged her and her ability to find the good in even the most undeserving individuals.' _ Tamu Mc Pherson
