Shop up to -40% Discounts and Donate to a Great Cause

This year, SeeMe is swimming against the dark tide of consumerism that is Black Friday thus transforming it into #OrangeFriday. The Orange Friday initiative aims at bringing light and much deserved attention to the United Nations UNiTE campaign’s #OrangeTheWorld. Coinciding with The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, today November 25th and running till Human Rights Day, December 10th, #OrangeFriday donations and discounts will run for the entirety of the UN Women's 16 days of activism.

From November 27, 2015 Black Friday through November 30, 2015 Cyber Monday, selected items will be discounted up to -40%.
From December 1 -10, 2015, selected items will be discounted up to -20%.
The value that shoppers have saved from the selected items on discount, will be entirely donated to the UN campaign UNiTE to End Violence Against Women.

ABOUT SEEME
SeeMe is a fair trade certified luxury brand and social enterprise that strives to improve the life of women who have been victims of violence. It employs women, usually single mothers, who have been shunned by their patriarchal societies and, once out of their shelter homes, could not find a job to provide for themselves and their children. Through trainings that later result in employment, SeeMe women are empowered, they learn a craft and eventually earn a steady monthly salary.

ABOUT UNiTE
UNiTE is a United Nations campaign aiming at ending all types of violence against women through law and policy enforcement, mobilization and partnerships. In fact, UNiTE has put together a big network of women’s organizations, youth groups, men, media people, government representatives as well celebrities and artists to support the campaign. Orange is the color of Elimination of Violence Against Women.

ABOUT THE GLOBAL #16Days CAMPAIGN
25 November marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and the beginning of The Official 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence Campaign, which runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. The campaign links the movement to end violence against women and girls with the human rights movement.
